This wonderfully bright three-bedroom upper duplex apartment on a tree-lined street in West Kensington was a real delight. Arranged over more than 1,300 sq ft with the living space on the upper floor, the open-plan reception room and kitchen / dining room was flooded with light thanks to its triple aspect and two pitched roof lights. Opening out through timber-framed sliding doors onto a lovely South and West-facing terrace, the apartment really blurred the lines between inside and out.
The wide plank limed oak floorboards and white palette throughout were a nod to minimal Scandinavian design. The kitchen’s sleek glossy units were an elegant foil for the chunky polished concrete island, and the bespoke library shelving above the stairs demarcated the spaces between the kitchen and living areas with great style.
Downstairs, the master bedroom was beautifully finished with bespoke wardrobes and led into a spa-like en-suite bathroom, with a freestanding bath and enormous walk-in shower. The guest-bedroom with en-suite shower room and a third double bedroom or office provided plenty of accommodation in this precisely and thoughtfully designed home.
