It’s back! After a very cool refresh and with a new name, the return of our favourite neighbourhood restaurant marks the latest collaboration for Soho House. This time it’s with Brendan Sodikoff, the legendary chef behind world-famous Au Cheval in Chicago. Taking strong inspiration from Sodikoff’s own, the Electric Diner has a sensational American diner feel throughout. Think industrial cool – bare-brick walls, rich leather booths and moody lighting. You almost expect the cast of De Palma’s The Untouchables to walk in. Sit at a booth or at the bar and feast upon specials from the wood-fired grill, including Brendan’s cheeseburgers (voted best in the US) or shaved beef rib covered in smoked Monterey Jack. The cocktails aren’t bad either. Enjoy a Horse’s Neck or Hemingway Daiquiri while listening to the specially chosen soundtrack from the reel-to-reel machine. Definitely a great place for the weekends.
