Love is in the air (and bouncing off the walls) at London’s leading light art gallery, as Lights of Soho announce their new, love-induced show, LOVE HZ. Celebrating the passionate nature of Soho, the gallery is hosting a three week long pop-up which features an explosion of neon hearts and tunnels of love. The show started on January 28th and will last until February 14th.
“Deep down, Soho is all about falling in love,” states curator Hamish Jenkinson. “Now – you can do so in our tunnels of love! It’s exciting to channel Soho’s passion and cheekiness this Valentine’s Day and we can’t wait to welcome all the lovers in.”
LOVE HZ will see Lights of Soho as London’s top Valentine’s Day destination for an unconventional, witty and unforgettable date. Featured artists include: Lauren Baker, Sara Pope, Dijon Dajee, Mark Goede, Diana Chire, and Ben Rousseau.
Alongside this exhilarating group of ‘bright young things’, LOVE HZ has launched Lights of Soho’s own brand of neon creations, which are gracing the walls for the very first time.
All artwork, including Lights of Soho’s own brand, will be available for purchase and Lights of Soho is also now accepting commissions to create bespoke neon signs.
The gallery, located on Brewer Street, also offers cocktails, a members’ lounge and an online art shop. Lights of Soho brings together established and next generation artists, as well a programme of film, fashion and music events for its members.
In the spirit of this Soho exhibit, we at Domus Nova have decided to relight our own neon hearts, created for us by Andy Doig for Valentine’s Day 2014. Our Notting Hill and Westbourne Grove offices are once again giving the backstreets of Soho a run for their money! See more of our flirty fixtures here: We Heart Valentines.
