With the autumn and winter months fast approaching, ski-fanatics are eagerly awaiting the first layer of powder snow to hit and thereby commence the ski season. Enjoyed by both skiers and non-skiers, the Alpine life brings fresh mountain air, a sense of tranquillity and endless jaw-dropping scenery. What better way to enjoy the season than to retreat to a secluded chalet on the mountain top with the slopes practically on your front doorstep. Adventuring across the European mainland, from Austria to France and Switzerland, we came across some of the continent’s most impressive ski resorts which we had to share.
